Dragontown by Christopher Dunkle

A not-quite shameless plug for the kids book my Dad wrote. Here's what I said on LibraryThing.

"Dragontown is a collection of stories centered on a small town where people and dragons live together. They are aimed at young children and are very sweet stories of daily life. It is a nice short read, perfect for kids."

What I like: Dragons are awesome, always. On the more biased side, the stories were written for me and they're a part of my childhood.

What I Don't Like: This is difficult, but well here's the brutal truth. The stories are a bit dull. If there weren't dragons, it'd just be a lot of dull boring people with dull boring problems solving them with niceness and common sense.

Am I Glad I Read This? Yes, absolutely. Dragons are great and it makes me feel all nostalgic.

Will I Read This Again? Probably, whenever I'm not feeling well and craving something uncomplicated and undramatic.
